个人简介
李玉平，男，1975年7月生，山西昔阳人。文学学士（山西大学，1997）、文学硕士（苏州大学，2000）、文学博士（南京大学，2003）。2003年7月起在南开大学中国语言文学系文艺学专业任教。学术兴趣集中在文学理论与符号学研究。2003年7月评聘为讲师，2005年12月评聘为副教授。2006年开始指导文艺学专业硕士研究生。2014年2月至2015年3月，承蒙国家留学基金委资助，赴美国康奈尔大学比较文学系师从乔纳森·卡勒（Jonathan Culler）教授做访问学者，研修文学符号学。
学术兼职：中国符号学论坛发起人之一、《外国文学研究》审稿专家、《天津大学学报》（社会科学版）、《南京社会科学》审稿人。
李玉平的学术研究具体涉及以下领域：巴赫金研究（1997—2000）、互文性研究（2001—2011）、文学经典理论（2005—2009）、文学符号学（2008—）、语图比较符号学（2020—）
